In March of 2014, my wife and I traveled to Chile for a trip that would last ten days. After a long series of connecting flights spanning Latin America, we arrived in Santiago, Chile's capitol city. From there we worked our way north via Chile's excellent long-distance bus services. We visited Valparaiso, La Serena, Copiapó, Caldera, Antofagasta, and San Pedro de Atacama. We had a great time while we were there - the Chilean people are incredibly warm and friendly.
Chile is a land of spectacular landscapes and it's easy to see many different species of fascinating wildlife. While we were there we saw Humboldt Penguins, Flamingos, Vicuñas, and even an endangered Marine Otter.
